Day 1: Bangkok – The City of Angels
Our journey began in Bangkok, a city that pulses with life 24/7. The contrast between glittering skyscrapers and sacred temples makes it endlessly fascinating. We visited the Grand Palace, the opulent former royal residence, and Wat Phra Kaew, home to the revered Emerald Buddha. Nearby, Wat Pho amazed us with its giant Reclining Buddha and serene atmosphere.
By evening, we were exploring Asiatique market and taking a cruise on the Chao Phraya River, with temples glowing under the night sky.

Day 2: Ayutthaya – A Step Back in Time
A short day trip from Bangkok took us to Ayutthaya, a UNESCO World Heritage site and former capital of the Kingdom of Siam. The ancient ruins, Buddha statues entwined in tree roots, and crumbling temples spoke of a rich and powerful past. It was like walking through an open-air museum.

Day 3–4: Chiang Mai – Northern Serenity & Spirituality
Next, we flew to Chiang Mai, known for its calm, mountain backdrop and spiritual vibe. We explored the Old City, home to over 30 temples, including Wat Chedi Luang and the breathtaking hilltop Wat Phra That Doi Suthep.
We also visited an ethical elephant sanctuary, where we learned about elephant care, fed them, and watched them play in the river—an experience that felt both humbling and joyful.

Day 5–7: Krabi & Phi Phi Islands – Tropical Paradise
No Thailand trip is complete without a few days in the islands. We flew to Krabi and took a speedboat to the iconic Phi Phi Islands, famous for turquoise waters and dramatic limestone cliffs. We snorkeled in crystal-clear bays, kayaked through sea caves, and watched magical sunsets from Ao Nang Beach.
A visit to Railay Beach, accessible only by boat, gave us the perfect mix of beach relaxation and jungle hikes.
